I Have a 4th great grandmother named Mary Catherine Bertrand... born 1793 or 1794, who married a Johan Jacob Reisner on 10-3-1814 in Germany. Mary Catherine is supposed to be related to a General Bertrand- Napoleon's aide de camp. I have photo's and german documents of Mary's and Johan's. Johan was in Napoleon's army ...then headed for America with his family when the war was lost.Mary's parents names were Georg Bernhard Bertrand-(born 1765 or 1766 and died 1833) and Elizabeth Carolina Roth. Would love to know Mary Catherine's /siblings/relatives/ancestors and relatives descendents ... have several napoleonic war stories, pirate stories. Think that Mary,Johan and family entered America in Virginia.
