Howard,

Do you have any biographical information on a
Stephen D. Bartholf, born May 1818 in New
Jersey? He served in the 22 New Jersey Infantry, Company B during the Civil War; applied for a pension 1884 Feb 12 while still living in New Jersey. During the 1895 & 1900 Ia census he was found living in Worth County, IA. I know of one son, David H Bartholf, born Nov 1839 in New Jersey and married to a Josephine, born Jun 1854 also in New Jersey. Any assistance would be most welcome.
