Thank you so much for the reply on Forrest Bertholf. This is the right person. Jessie Mae Butler is my Husbands Grandmother. They had 2 daughters, June Irene or June Agnes..we are not sure which, and Verna Mae (my Husbands Mother). They were divorced when Verna was very young...she never remembered him, but Jessie always said that Forrest was native american. My husband looks a lot indian and Verna did too..even more so as she got older. So that is what makes us think that Forrest's Mother may have been native american. Lakota Sioux is what we always heard...but we have no proof of any thing. This probably wont help you much but hope it does in some way.Ane hope to hear from you again. Thank you again for responding....Sincerely Marjorie and James Hall
