Denissen's book covers all the Fr-Cans that Father Denissen could locate. It runs 1701-1936. It's possible you may find clues there. Have you posted in the Wayne, Macomb and Oakland Co, Michigan sites?

Do you have access to the Library of Michigan in Lansing? Tons of information there - even the census films from Canada.
