MADS & Anna with Bertel & Carrie came over on a ship and came down the St Lawrence River from Canada into Wisconsin in July 1863
staying there til the spring of 1864, when they moved to Redwood Falls County, MN.
Mads and Anna went down to Texas because Mads was an adventurer and had heard of a Norwegian settlemen was down there. Bertel & Christine stayed until 1885.

The first six were born in Redwood Falls Co., MN and the rest were born in Bosque Co., TX. When Bea was born the rest of children ages were 28, 26, 25, 23, 22, 21, 20, 18, 17, 15, 14, 13, 10, & 7. The older ones helped out.
