Hello,

I believe I have a correction. Apparently Thomas Newton Berryman, brother of Rev Jerome Calvin (Causin) Berryman and son of Gerald Blackstone Berryman did not die in Muhlenberg Co, Kentucky in the early 1830's. I have found a copy of a letter written by Gerald in Hartford, Ky in 1838.........in which he mentions his children including Jerome and his wife as missionaries in Kansas and Missouri..........it also mentions that his son Thomas Newton lives with him in Hartford. This changes alot of things for my Cessna research. Thomas Newton Berryman was married to Margaret Elizabeth Cessna, sister to my gr gr grandfather. Jerome was married to Sarah Cessna, another sister. Margaret Elizabeth died in 1831-37 and left two children, Robert Newton Berryman and Elizabeth Margaret. Elizabeth Margaret ended up marrying John Beck Culbertson and they had a very large family. However, I don't know what became of Robert Newton Berryman. I can find no record of him in Muhlenberg Co but if he moved to Ohio Co, Ky with his father, then perhaps he was raied there by the Berryman family. Apparently there is a will in Kansas of Thomas Newton's family as Thomas Newton Berryman died in 1884, If anyone knows of this information or this will, Pleaseeee pass it my way. My whole family tree has to be changed. (this is why I loveee genealogy!!)
Thanks,
Cheryl Cessna
