Lynn, G.W. was a twin to Thomas Jefferson. He married Martha Ann Sturdivant and then Mary E. Finch. In the 1890's he went to the Creek Nation Indian territory and applied for citizenship into the Creek Nation for himself and his children, his brothers and sisters and their children. They were denied citizenship. George appealed their case but they still were denied citizenship.
I have quite a collection on the Indian part of the family that was collected by the late Thelma Nolen Cornfield in 1989.
I would like to get a update on your part of the family and add it to what she collected
if possible.
