This isn't easy for me to do...but Ma wanted me to share everything I have with those also researching the Berryhill tree. Amd since I know this is accurate information, as I was there and am named on her death certificate...I wanted to post this for those to update info on Mom if she is part of your tree or research.
My Mother was diagnosed with Liver Cancer on Oct. 18, 2006. She took one Chemotherapy treatment and decided that she couldn't do any more treatments.
She passed away on December 9, 2006 at 7:29pm at her apartment in Haslett, Michigan. My mother was only 65 years old.
There was no funeral per Mom's request she was cremated at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home in Perry, Michigan. I am holding her ashes until we are able to carry out her wishes next spring.
My sister took care of her after she was released from Sparrow Hospital to go home to start At Home Hospice.
Her parents were Archie Gordon Berryhill(son of William A. Berryhill and Minnie Fifield) and Edna Adelaide Jones . She was born on Jan. 31, 1941.
There is only one sibling still living, a brother.
Spending more time updating our family tree...
Not exactly the way I planned on spending my holiday, but it will keep me busy for a while.
