Hello Ladies--I think one of best places for you to conduct your search is in the books prepared by Dr. June Berry of SLC, Utah. She did a book on the decendents of each child of William(1) and Jane Berry of Strawberry Banke, NH.The book I have is for son James(2) but a quick check of the index does not show any of the names in your emails. Thomas and John(and William) were EXTREMELY common names in the NH/ME Berry lines. Her research is best suited to searches for people before 1815.
I have spoken with her by phone in the past and she does sell copies if YOU can tell her which sibling your line is in.If she isn't too rushed she might even do a quick check of the indexes. Living just a few blocks away from the "Crystal Palace" keeps her pretty busy.
Just about every library in New Hampshire and Maine has copies of her books.
Luck to you in your searches.
