I am seeking ancestry information on Elizabeth Gilmore (born 1757 Dublin, Ireland, died 21st August 1824) and John Berry (born 1753 Ireland, died 7th July 1809). They were married in 1780, both having travelled from Ireland in 1775 to America I think.
Elizabeth was a patriot nurse in Gen. George Washington's Continental Army during the revolutionary wars, and both she and John spent the winter of 1777-78 at Valley Forge.
Hopefully the information above is useful, as I would like to trace the Irish links as far as possible.
