Steffan BEHRINGER arrived in Philadelphia on the ship, St. Andrew, Oct. 27, 1738. Several births to Steffan and wife Catharina are recorded in Warwick Twp., Lancaster Co. records: Michael (b. 1742), Barbara (b. 1743), Christina (b. 1748), Jacob (b. 1750). Michael married Elizabeth REAM (RIHM). Only two children are mentioned in Michael's will: Jacob and Elizabeth. After his death, Elizabeth and her children moved to Dauphin County to live near her brother-in-law Jacob. The younger Elizabeth married John GARMAN and moved to Cumberland Co. ca. 1838.
