Hi, I am also checking out these two. Have been trying to find parents of Rebecca Bartlebaugh. David's parents were John ( John was son of Nichlaus) and Elizabeth from a web page I saw. John married Jane Leim and they were from Burk Co. They had 5 children and some born in Indiana Co. 1850 census show David and Rebecca living next door to Mathias Bartlebaugh and some other grown children of Mathias with their families . Since the land was an orginal land grant to Mathias and John Bartlebaugh, we think she maybe connected as daughter or sister. Just a guess and need more info to connect her correctly. A few generations later a Nellie Beringer married Andrew Bartlebaugh from Cherry Tree Indiana Co. Pa.
