Berringer--from Baden to Ohio

I'm researching BEHRINGERS who emigrated from Baden, Germany, after 1830, going first to New York where their names were recorded as John (b. 1802) and Mary (b. 1802) BERRINGER, with a son, Michael (b. 1830).

They later moved to Bristol Twp., Trumbull County, Ohio, where their name began to be spelled PARRINGER, PARINGER, and finally PERRINGER. They were members of the German Baptist Church. Father and son were both blacksmiths and farmers. Michael served as a wagoner in the 125th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, 1862-63.

The parents and son all died in Ohio, John in 1891, Mary in 1890, and Michael in 1895.

In 1853, Michael married Caroline Dorothy HOLCOMB of Vernon, Ohio, b. 1837, d/o Dryden and Laura GRISWOLD Holcomb. Michael and Caroline had two sons (see below). Caroline died in 1889, and in 1893, Michael married a widow, Rebecca TEMPLE, who survived him.

Michael and Caroline Perringer's sons were:

-- Frank F., b. ~1854, m. 1879 to Harriet (Hattie) A. VANCE of Bristol, Ohio, d/o Andrew Vance and Ann or Margaret MAHAN.

-- Judson Dryden "J.D.", b. 1865, d. 1847 in Euclid, Penna., m. 1889 to Caroline Luella THOMPSON, of Bristol, Ohio, b. 1867, d/o Thomas N. Thompson and Julia HYDE, d. 1924, Pittsburgh, Penna.

Anyone have connecting information? Thanks!
