I'm trying to trace Georg Berringer back to Germany. He was born in Hesse-Darmstadt some time between June, 1814 and June, 1815. In 1880, he lived in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife, Margret, and children: Peter(24), Annie(20), Lizzie(22), and Maggie(19). Peter was married to Lydia at that time, with three children: James(4), Lydia(7), and Howard(8/79). James was my grandfather. I believe that all of Georg's children were born in Hesse-Darmstadt and that he had a married daughter at the time named Bridgett.
