My line of Berrian's ended up in Peoria County, Illinois.
James Berrian and his wife Sarah went up through upstate New York to Binghamton, Broome County, New York. It was there that my great-great grandfather James Augustus Berrian was born. The family then moved from that area to the Brimfield, Peoria County, Illinois. There are still some of the family in the area. James and his family eventually left the mid-west and moved to the area of Goldendale, Washington in 1773.
