I am not related to the Berrian family directly. Mary C. Berrian Clark is the connection I have found. She married, according to what I have found, Willard Clark a brother to Daniel Brown Clark. Daniel Brown Clark married Eleanor Bates. I am related to the Bates family and several of us are desperately trying to find information on Eleanor's father, Obadiah Bates. As I find connections to his family I hope to some day find someone who may have come across something on Obadiah Bates.

If my records are correct Phebe A. Berrian died at age 23, October 24, 1855 and Sarah A. died August 7, 1856. Is this Sarah the child of Phebe?

In the Brimfield newspaper dated May 24, 1878 I found a death notice/obit of sorts for Mary G. (?) Mack, age 45. It said she left a father, Mr. Berrian and a sister, Mrs. WM. Daggs along with seven children. Does this make any sense to you? I can't find a Wm. Daggs.

Oh, and have you seen the name of Obadiah Bates or any Bates for that matter in your research?
