Now it gets a bit complicated. In checking several sources
it seems that Marc Andre Bernier married Calixte Raymond
5 Sep 1843 St-Pascal. I found 12 children but no Arthur.
However, if you compare info regarding their children against this census [except for Nartianail Raymond] it seems that the info matches. It looks like the census taker listed the last three children under Calixte's maiden name rather than Bernier.

[1] Seven of the couple's children married before the 1881 census. None of those appear in this list. That is as it should be.

[2] The remaining five children married after 1881. They were Philippe, Eugenie, Jean-Baptiste, Alfred and Josephine. Those five names appear in this list.

[3] Three of the five children married in Maine. They were Eugenie to Jean Gagne in Lewiston
Alfred to Clara Fortin in Lisbon
Philippe to Rose Anna Dupuis in Lewiston

Do you know any of these names as relatives? Perhaps you can then tell if it is your family.
