Hello Clyde: "Cousin" that's about the gist of the French I command, but happy to greet "ma chere cousin"!! We are indeed cousins. As I told you my lst Canadian ancestors were Yves Bernier and Catherine Grenier. Their son, Charles I. was married to Marie-Anne Lemieux. I am the Bernier 6th great-grand daughter of Charles I and Marie-Anne.
My ancestry records are computerized on software PAF-5 and I also have a website at: <http://www.geocities.com/bernicehackney/> If you can access that site, you will have all the genealogical information I posted a few years ago but not recently updated. (Iam not computer-literate. I have a friend who gets me out of the SNAFU's I frequently get into.)
I would also like to send you an Ancestor Chart for Melanie Bernier (my little French grandmother) which goes back to the earliest Bernier, etc. ancestors and forward to my immediate family.
