Can you find anything in your cousins book about the following?
Georgiana Bernier Rocque.....
birthdate, according to her death certificate, was 7/4/1886 in Holyoke, MA. Her parents are listed as Louis Bernier b. in Canada & Mary 'Fusher' or 'Fusner' - it's hard to read - of Vergennes, VT.
married 9/5/1904 in Northampton to Charles Rocque. Her parent's names listed as
Louis Bernier & Mary 'Fushia'.
died 1/31/1913 in Springfield, MA.
As you can see her mother's last name is mysterious.... To further complicate things.... in a Holyoke marriage registry a Louis Rocque is listed as marrying a Mary 'Richards' on 2/1/1875. It was her second marriage and his first. Could these Marys be the same???... maybe Richards was her first married name? In this same registry Louis' parents names are listed as Louis and Louise Bernier.... Now can anyone help????
