May I ask where these records reside? My contacts with Hudson Bay Records failed to turn this up. I am VERY grateful for this lead and would be happy to participate in helping find the marriage records for Julien and Marguerite. If Marguerite was of European descent and not Metis, she was one very gutsy woman, and flies in the face of most of what I've read, that European women were simply not in the wilds of the Northwest. I have written to the historical society "Friends of Spokane House" who may have access to journals and other documents of the era and will gladly share anything that I find. Would you like to me to complete your Bernier line down to my current generation?

Again, thank you! You have helped me very much!
