Julien Bernier: Quebec- Red River-Washington State 1794-1841

I am trying to find information on a Julien Bernier, born about 1794 in Quebec province and involved in the Fur Trade from at least 1820-1836. Unfortunately he is not listed in the Hudson Bay Archives, although family legend has him working for them. I believe he will appear as one of the Bernier children of one of the Quebec Bernier's about whom little is known except perhaps a birthdate.

Many of the Bernier family given names have repeats of many of the names I've read among the Berniers of Quebec: Julien, Marcel, Isadore, Pierre, Francois.

I do know that Julien and family immigrated to Cowlitz Prairie in Washington State with the James Sinclair party in 1841 from the Red River Settlement.

Any help would be appreciated!
