Mike, although this is a reply almost 3 years later, i do have info on the Michigan Berniers. My G-Grandfather, Wilfred (son of Alfred and Marie (Talon), was born in Chassell, Houghton County in 1889. Alfred and his family moved to brunswick, Maine later and he died there in 1937. Wilfred married Henriette (Favreau) and died in the '70s also in Brunswick. I am dying to get more info on the Michigan angle. still do not understand why they moved there from Quebec. Pierre must be Alfred's brother? you can respond to my email directly. hope you're still out there!
