Mr. Bernier,
We thank you so much for this information. We think, however, that it is likely not the same man we seek, because our Claude/Alonzo Barney-?Bernier? was 84 and in Oklahoma in 1910. Your Alonzo is of interest though, because it could be a son of our Alonzo, who had reportedly lived in Quebec or Canada near the "east coast" of the US for much of his life prior to moving to Oklahoma. The family history has always indicated that the name was changed after he moved.
Do you know the name of your Alonzo's parents?
