Mathias' parents were François Bernier and Henriette Simonneau, maried on 1841/02/02 at Cap St-Ignace.

François' parents were François-Xavier Bernier and Geneviève Bernier, maried on 1807/05/18 at Cap St-Ignace.

François-Xavier's parents were François Bernier and Marie-Geneviève Gagné, maried on 1786/06/25 at Cap St-Ignace.

François' parents were Charles-M. Bernier and Marie-Louise Lemieux, maried on 1763/08/28 at Cap St-Ignace.

Charles-M.'s parents were Barthélemi Bernier and Marie-Charlotte Petit, maried on 1731/10/18 at Québec city.

Barthélemi's parents were Philippe Bernier and Ursule Caron, maried on 1701/10/30 at Ste-Anne de Bellevue.

Philippe's parents were Jacques Bernier also called "Jean de Paris", maried 1656/07/23 to Antoinette Grenier at Québec city.

Jacques' was born approximately in 1633. His parents were Yves Bernier and Michelle Treuillet from St-Germain L'Auxerrois de Paris. Jacques was "inhumated???" at Cap St-Ignace on 1713/07/21.

Antoinette's parents were Claude Grenier and Catherine Grenier, from St-Laurent, évêché de Paris. Antoinette was "inhumated???" at Cap St-Ignace on 1713/02/18.

I can find 3-5 other ascendant generations of Jacques, but their validity could not be confirmed by any source.
