Bernier Eugene and Lavallee Melvina or Melina

Hi! My g/grand-parents Eugene Bernier (1845 St Pierre du Sud, Qc) and Melvina Lavallee (??? between 1842 and 1852 in St Alburn, USA ??? ) got married in february 1870 in Waterloo, Qc. Melvina was the daughter of Edouard Lavallee and Hedwidge Carignan according to their marriage certificate but I think she was most probably from his previous marriage with Julie Turenne or Blanchard about 1833. They were living in Dunham i believe. Does anyone knows about that union? I have almost every info I need concerning the Bernier's what i'm looking for is related with Melvina Lavallee or Turenne or Blanchard and her parents. THIS REQUEST WAS ALSO POST IN LAVALLEE'S FORUM.
