Dear Mr. Barney, Thank you for your reply. Here is what I know. My birth name is Joseph-Alphonse Bernier, born May 20, 1958. I believe my father's name was the same or Joseph Bernier. I was adopted through La Sauvegarde de L'Enfance Nov. 16, 1960. I was born in Quebec and apparently both my mother and father were from "the country" in Quebec. My mother was 19 in 1958, my father was 28 in 1958. My father was 28 in 1958. That is really all I know. Except that she was a waitress and he was a carpenter.
I am just hoping that perhaps this story sounds familiar to some one in the Bernier family. Any help would be appreciated. My soul reason for asking is just to have information about my birth parents and my geneaology.
