I would like to find the name of churches in Bernhards Germany. I know that Bernhards is in the state of Hesse, district of Fulda. I have found it on a map. I guess most Bernhards originated from there. The ship manifest for my husband's ggrandfather Hieranimus Bernhard says he was from Bernhards. I am guessing that the village church will have centuries of records.
Has anyone researched this angle?
