It's good to hear the news on your last posting. You can communicate directly with me at aclange2@comcast.net. I have communications with other descendents of Christian Berner, including Arnold Elmer Dischler who was a brother-in-law of Viola Florence Elvira Berner Dischler (1913 - 2002). Arnie is my 2nd cousin once removed.
We are still trying to determine if Viola is actually a descendent of Christian Berner or just a coincidence. Perhaps your mother's records will shed some light on this puzzle. More about this later.
