As you have researched Berners in WI. have you ever come across a Meta (or Metha)
Berner who was born in Wisconsin February 13, 1870. From her marriage certificate I
find her father was named Nicholas or Nicholaus (it is hard to read). From what I can
tell she moved from Wisconsin to the Pender, Nebraska area shortly after her birth. She
married my great grandfather Carl Wilhem Moeller June 29, 1887 at the age of 17. I
am at a dead end on this side of the family, so if you have any information, I would
appreciate it.
