My grandfather has traced our line to Felix Gilles Louis Bernard (of Louisiana)<Louis Gilles Bernard du Montier<Jean Pierre, Sieur du Haut-Cilly<Denis Bernard<Antoine Bernard. Antoine Bernard was from Beauvais, Oise, France. He married Madeline Le Clerc, niece of Pere Joseph Le Clerc of Tremblay, an advisor to Cardinal Richelieu. Antoine died May 14, 1689 in Mouchy-le-Chatel, as did his wife. Any help with Antoine's parents or furthur back would be greatly appreciated!
