Recently I found some more information on Louis, who I made an earlier posting about.
Marcel Bernard was born Oct. 1846 in Canada. Emma Dufresne was born Aug. 1850 in Canada. They married in 1874. They had a total of 13 children, but only 6 of them were living by the year 1884. Here are the only ones I know of so far:
1. Regina Elizabeth born Canada
2. Louis Zenox born July 1875, Canada
3. Philadore? born Oct. 1876, Canada
4. Oliver born June 1879, Massachusetts
5. Muriel born 1884, Massachusetts
1. Regina married Earl Boyden Pemble and stayed in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
2. Louis married Amelia Christner (in Albany, NY) and they had Leslie A. Bernard, my grandfather.
3. Philadore, according to the 1900 census was an "invalid". I believe he passed away before 1910.
4. Oliver married Francis Davignon and they lived in Orange, NJ. However, both are buried with the parents in Waterford, NY.
5. I am not sure about Muriel. There is a Maria McCloskey buried with the family who was born the same year as Muriel. She was the wife(or widow) of Joseph McCloskey. I think it may have been a translation error and it is really the same person.
