Hi Jeff, I guess we are cousins, then! Thank you for the details and sources! I am glad that you have the same information as me, except that "Jacques" was a typo. Joseph Hache Gallant dit Mignon* is Henriette Bernard's husband. Joseph's father was Joseph and his grandfather was Jacques Hache dit Gallant who married Marie Joseph Boudrot. Jacques and Marie Josephe were THIRD COUSINS via Martin Aucoin and Barbe Minguette. Two sources for that marriage are Stephen White's HACHE page http://www0.umoncton.ca/etudeacadiennes/centre/white/hache.html Francogene (2 links): 4) Jacques, married Port Lajoie (Acadie) 1735-06-20 Marie Josèphe BOUDREAU http://www.francogene.com/quebec--genealogy/084/084852.php 7) Marie Josèphe, married Port Lajoie (Acadie) 1735-06-20 Jacques HACHÉ http://www.francogene.com/quebec--genealogy/084/084272.php ***This is what I found on the web Joseph Gallant dit Mignon et Henriette Bernard. (Saint-Chrysostôme) HACHÉ, Joseph dit Mignon (Gallant),1.100.31 http://www.umoncton.ca/etudeacadiennes/centre/instru/el-01.pdf www.umoncton.ca/etudeacadiennes/ centre/instru/mainx-01.pdf p 18 1.100.31 APRES LA DEPORTATION - REGION NO. 7 s.d., 1900 29 pieces (records and documents that are in the University of Moncton archives) By the way, Mignon translates to “nice”. :) Happy Valentine's Day and thanks again, Pam Notify Administrator about this message?
