Thank you for the clarification. I do have the same information you show that indicates that the parents of Henriette Bernard were Joseph BERNARD and Anne-Anastasie ARSENAULT who were HALF 2nd COUSINS via Anne BLANCHARD.
My source for the parents of Henriette is from this web site: Suzzette Bernard's web site at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Acres/ /2804/bernard/d0/i0000474.html#i474 but this site is no longer valid. I have the same source for Joseph's mother Marie-Joseph Gaudet. That Marie-Joseph Gaudet is the daughter of Claude Gaudet and Marguerite "Jeanne" Belou is have from this source: "Dictionnaire Genealogique des Familles Acadiennes, Premiere Partie 1636 a 1714", 2 vols., [Centre d'etudes acadiennes, Universite de Moncton, Moncton, NB, 1999], Vol. 1, p. 126. I don't show my sources for Anne Marie Blanchard. Hmm, I have not worked on this part of my line for a long time and I really need to shore it up.
That Anne-Anastasie Arsenault (wife of Joseph Bernard) was the daughter of Abraham "dit Le Jeune" Arsenault and Marie-Joseph Savoye comes from "Le Grand Arrangement des Acadiens au Quebec", by Bergeron, p. 111.

More shoddy work here on my part, I did not capture a source to show the parentage of Marie Guerin but I am currently showing them to be Francois Guerin and Anne Marie Blanchard.
Now for the Gallant side. That Joseph Hache Gallant (husband of Henriette Bernard) was the son of Joseph Gallant and Nathalie Arsenault is from this source: John MacIsaac's BERNARD.zip file on the P.E.I. Island Register web site at http://www.islandregister.com/bernard.html, last updated 26 Oct 1998. However, the entry is unsourced. Note that the father is listed as being Joseph not Jacques Hache Gallant. I have no records of parents for either Joseph/Jacques Gallant or Nathalie Arsenault, so I can't add much to the question about closeness of relationships here.
I descend from Joseph Bernard and Anne-Anastasie Arsenault through Pierre, so this general line is of interest to me.
