Wanda Bernard Gibson, 63, of 3468 Beech Creek Road,
Rogersville, Hawkins Co TN, went to be with the Lord
Tuesday morning, November 27, 2007, at her home following
a lengthy illness.
She was born in Rogersville, TN, where she was a lifelong
resident. Wanda was a graduate of Whitney’s Business
College and enjoyed working in her yard.
Her parents, Carl Bernard and Minnie Light Bernard,
preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband, William B. Gibson, Rogersville;
two sisters, Carolyn Horne and husband, Sam, Rogersville,
Sandra Bernard, Rogersville; one brother, Rex Bernard and
wife, Trish, Rogersville; and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Thursday, November 29, 2007
from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall
Branch, TN. Funeral services followed at 7 p.m. Thursday,
November 29, 2007 at the funeral home.
Graveside services conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, November 30,
2007 at Lower Beech Creek Cemetery in Rogersville, TN.
Pallbearers were family members and friends.
Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch served the
Gibson family.
