We are desendants of the Voorhies's of Louisiana, our maternial Grandmother was Emma Agale Voorhies, born 2-6-1875
in Moreauville, her parents were Jean Hyacinth Voorhies and Heloise Mayeux,we have been looking for our Uncle Amadee's family, we spoke to Odile, wrote to Jr. and talked with Jack Voorhies, Please write to us, we are cousins, we were never told about Heloise & Jean & William, Emma and our mom, Esla M. Dewailly, kept secrets from us and we do not know why. We would appreciate hearing from Uncle Amadee's
children or grandkids. Thanks.
