My great-great-great-great grandfather was Dionisio Bermúdez Alfonso. He may have been from the Canary Islands, but I am not positive. We believe his wife, Paula Barreto, was Canarian. Their daughter, Luisa Bermúdez Barreto was from La Sabanilla del Encomendador, Matanzas, Cuba. Anyone know anything about this Bermudez branch, that would be great. Many thanks. Hablo español.
