Bermudez de Traba and Marino -- medieval Spain

If anyone is researching the Marino family and their connection to the Bermudez in medieval Spain, I would greatly appeciate some assistance. I am confused by some apparent contradictions in 2 volumes of the book Blasones y Linajes de Galicia, by Jose Santiago Crespo, copyright 1997. I am following the Bermudez de Traba line. Although my query doesn't appear closely related to the Bermudez family, it is related in the earlier generations because the first Marinos are descendents of the Bermudez de Traba. I am hoping that someone who has researched the Bermudez family extensively will know the answer to these questions.

I am having difficulties with an apparent contradiction between the Sotomayor section (Blasones, v. 4, p. 372) which states that Pedro Annes Marino was married to Sancha Ines Marino de Lobeira. In the Marino section (Blasones, v. 3, p. 180), it says that Pedro *Paez* Marino was married to Sancha Ines Marino de Lobeira. Is it possible that Pedro Annes Marino and Pedro Paez Marino are the same person?

There is another apparent contradiction (or maybe I don't understand the Spanish text well enough) in the Marino section: On p. 180, it states that Pedro Paez Marino was the son of Ruy Soga and Leonor Gonzalez. (How does Ruy Soga fit into the Bermudez line?) However, on p. 179, it says that Pedro Paez Marino was the son of Paay, or Payo Marino (son of Johan Frolaz Marino, of the Bermudez de Traba line). Are these Pedros two different people?

Many thanks in advance!
