My initial message should have read:
"I believe that my great grandmother Katherine Harriette Charlotte Couchman was born in Bermuda on 11 May 1852 and her sister Mary Alice Ann Couchman was born there on 20 Feb 1854 . I would like to find records of their birth and baptism. The girls were probably baptised in a Catholic Church as their mother Maria Couchman née Schuttmayr was Catholic.

Their father, Sgt William Couchman of the 56th Regiment, was stationed in Bermuda between 1851 and 1854 or 1855. He was stationed in Hamilton until Nov 1851, on Ireland Island between Dec 1851 and Mar 1852, in the garrison from April to October 1852, then at Mount Langton from November 1852 to March 1853.

I would appreciate any suggestions which might help me trace these records and contact with anyone else tracing this family. Thank you. Lesley
