Grant...these are the infantry units stationed in Bermuda at that time:

1866-1870....61st Foot
1868-1870....1st Battalion 15th Regiment
1870-1875....53rd (Shpshire) Regiment
1870-1873....The 69th Regiment
1873-1876....1st Battalion 20th Regiment

Benjamin Speering (spelling in Sandys register) of Pembroke married Mary Lavinia Munroe (spelling again) of Sandys in Sandys on 7/16/1874.

Benjamin was buried on 5/20/1880 at age 43 in Sandys. Body moved to Pembroke Churchyard 8/19/1881.
