HURT, Seth and PLACE, Hannah Hamilton Parish marriage date: 1795, June 14.
As Hurt, Seth and Place Hannah did not marry until 1795. It is possible that your Daniel Place Hurt was born out of wedlock.
I cannot find any births of children under the surname PLACE with a Christian name of Daniel.
So I looked in the many lists of NO NAME children.
There is a NO NAME, Daniel parents not listed baptism date: July 13, 1794 comment: black child.
