Hi Judy,
Thank you so much for looking this up. I have recently found out that the name is actually James Henry Kelsey with alternative spellings of Kelsie and Celsie. His son (my husband's grandfather) changed the name to Kelly. According to James Henry Kelsey's marriage certificate he was born in 1851 in New York to parents John and Mary Kelsey. From New York he likely moved to Bermuda and then to Yarmouth Nova Scotia. He was a Catholic in Yarmouth. Would it be possible for you to look in the same book for the name James Kelsey?
Thank you so much for your help.
Michelle Kelly
