hi again judy,
my grandad arthur patrick paley was born kildare ireland around 1877 and was a soldier in the british royal artillery he served in bermuda and met my granny i was told her name was alice ward and her dad was meant to have been a capitan who disowned her i reckon they had their first child in bermuda around 1894 when ,she was 14-15 yrs old, she had 3 daughters helen,alice and eileen but i think her own name was alice but could be wrong, the boys were arthur,edward,harry,thomas[my dad] and norman, thank you so much for your help though, will let you know if mr patrick paley replies to my letter, his father would have died in bermuda though in late 1970 or early 80,s and was def born in bermuda, thanking you again nuala
