I am interested in William Rivers b 1638 fl 1717 m in Southampton parish, Bermuda 1663 Elizabeth Mallory b 1641 d by 1717 who is an authenticated descendant of Sir Thomas Mallory the fifteenth-century author of "Le Morte D'Arthur".

I am curious to know if William Rivers was a descendant of the Rivers family who had patronised Thomas Mallory when he was writing.

Also interested in their descendants as the couple was said to have settled in South Carolina in 1681 and to have left descendants.
