Greetings, I am searching for any information on my g-grandparents, JAMES and ANN ROURKE (nee: POWER ) James was born in Ireland in approx. 1820/21 and married to Ann (born in approx. 1822/23) in approx. 1843. James was in the military and was stationed in Bermuda approx. 1848 to approx. 1857. They had a son John, born in Ireland in 1847, before they left for Bermuda. They had a daugher Rosina, born in Bermuda in approx. 1850 and a son James, born approx. 1853. They moved back to Woolwich, Kent, U.K., sometime before my g-grandfather Michael was born in Woolwich in 1858. They continued to live in Woolwich at the barracks there. It is also possible that Ann Power was a second wife, and that they were married in Bermuda, because of the time lapse of births, before my g-grandfather was born, since there was a Yellow Fever outbreak there in those years. I would appreciate anything on this family. Thanks! Deborah Notify Administrator about this message?
