Hello,

I am seeking to verify that Samuel Edward Spencer was the son of Bishop Aubrey George Spencer. Aubrey George Spencer (1795 - 1872) was appointed archdeacon of Bermuda in 1825 and was Bishop of Jamaica 1843 to 1872. He married Eliza Musson on 14 July 1822 and had children:
Ella Louisa Spencer,
Emily Jane Pembroke Spencer, and
Mary Shaftesbury Spencer.

Was the Bishop also the father of Samuel Edward Spencer, born about 1826 in Bermuda; died 1896 in Kingstown, St. Vincent, West Indies. Married 15 Aug 1851 in St. Vincent to Mary de Rouviere Agassiz who was born 30 Jul 1832 in St. Vincent and died 2 Jan 1899 in Kingstown, St. Vincent. Their children where:
Ellen Pembroke Spencer,
Henry Agassiz Spencer,
Emma Spencer,
Mary de Rouviere Spencer,
Arthur Percival Spencer, and
Roland William Anthony Spencer.

Any information to verify Aubrey George Spencer was the father of Samuel Edward Spencer would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Jim Edwardson
