Daniel Dunscomb - Bermuda & New York

Daniel Dunscomb married Helena Swann in the Dutch Church in New York on July 8, 1696. He died there in June 1712. In an account written by a descendant, Daniel Dunscomb Bradford, he is said to have come "from Bermuda in the early days of the province,i.e., New York." In another reference "Virkus" he is described as the son of Daniel and grandson of Samuel from Bermuda. Samuel Dunscomb's will does not mention any Daniel nor is there any record of a son Daniel in any records I have found for Bermuda. Daniel had at least three sons, Samuel, Daniel and John(my husband's ancestor). Would appreciate any help in finding this link or suggestions where else to look. Any other Dunscomb's out there?
