There is actually a lot of information available on Early Bermuda settlors - there have been a fair number of books published and the Bermuda Archives have a lot of information. There have been lists published of early Bermuda Will and Church Records from the early 1600's to approx 1900.

I am not sure if you are looking for specific references to "Stokes" but there a couple:

Jonathan Stokes: - ref to wife Mary in will of Robert Kestaven Sn. - 1660
