Dear Elaine...Thats wonderful news... THANK YOU AGAIN.. Warwick was his original church and then he was asked by Hamilton Presbyterian Parishoners to build a church for them there. Which of course he did and accepted Pastor for both towns until he died.. Joan has an original cloth book.that she protects with her life.. I was able to contact Liz Parker secretary at Warwick Church and she found 2 paper backs that they used to give out at mass every Sunday many years ago..She very kindly offered to send 2 to me. After that I went looking for info on his personal life. I found another person that had excerpts from an article written by A.C.Hollis Hallett. It sez' He went to Halifax after his Ordination in Scotland and was approached to come to Bermuda from there. It said he.lost his 1st wife. Met Eliz. later and they married in 1839.but it never mentioned the children's names or birth dates..Joan lost her Father a few years ago and I can't help wishing he could have known all this. She adored him.. Joan is a very sweet lady and I am happy to help her out.. She never in her wildest dreams expected to find so much info about James and is elated about the whole thing.. Joan deserves it...She helps so many people herself..By the way.. The books are in the mail.. we're waiting with bated breath... GRATEFULLY... Bunny Vilim. Long Island Ny.
