Hi, Mildred,
I think we 'spoke' once before by e-mail. I am now in touch with 6 or 7 people all interested in this line emanating from Sussex. One branch of the family went to Hampshire and one to London. So far the variants are Bermingham, Birmingham, Burmingham and Burningham with a possibilty of a Barningham, but we haven't managed to link that one in yet as far as I know!

As I think I said before the locals in Birmingham (in what was Warwickshire) call the town Brumagen and are known as Brummies. If you think you may link into this group, please drop me a line as we have quite alot more data now and I can put you in touch with someone who has a good handle on it all. I am a bit behind due to pressure of work.)
