For several years, I have been seeking data re Irish origins of my family. John Birmingham/Bermingham was born about 1820 in Co. Clare according to family lore. One parent was Honore. He emigrated to USA about 1846 and settled at first in New Jersey and later in Batavia, New York. family stories involved castles and Kings- - but I have no way of evaluating. Any thoughts?
